International Way is an aesthetically dynamic, community-oriented residential development in the Stratford district of London. Featuring two 26-storey towers that together have 380 homes, next to one of London’s busiest stations; Stratford International and close to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Contractors RB Emersons installed a CAME IP360 intercom system across the two tower blocks, which included six entry panels, access control and 380 apartment stations. The East and West tower entrances are accessed by VRM digital panels, three on the West, two on the East. These entry panels are enabled within the CAME MTM intercom ecosystem and feature vandal resistant stainless steel front panels custom manufactured in the UK.
The apartment stations, 182 in the East tower and 198 in the West, are CAME PLX IP monitors. These monitors are handset free, with crystal clear audio and hi-resolution viewing screens. Sleek and modern the PLX features capacitive touch buttons for responsive “part-free” long-life operation.
The IP360 platform operates across a standard ethernet network that combines a powerful, flexible feature set with easy installation. At International Way, the West tower leverages the IP360 system to allow a fast, responsive concierge system with CAME Intercom View which includes porter functions such as intercepting and forwarding incoming calls, lists of received and missed calls, as well as handling alarm and panic messages from extensions.
CAME worked in collaboration with RB Emersons to deliver their largest IP360 installation to date, delivering a high-quality intercom and access solution as befitted this prestigious development.
