The new automation for high-traffic sliding gates: BKX by CAME 

With BKX, we’re expanding our range of sliding gates automation. A solution designed for those who can’t afford to stop: businesses, large residential complexes, healthcare facilities and, more broadly, high-traffic environments where continuous operation is essential and the system must work seamlessly, every time.

A sliding gate operator that is both fast and powerful 

The BKX, available in two models, operates sliding gates weighing up to 800 kg and up to 1,200 kg, with a maximum length of 20 metres, an opening speed of up to 24 metres per minute and a thrust of up to 800 N. At the heart of the system is a 24V brushless motor with an encoder, ensuring smooth and precise movement, cycle after cycle, even under continuous use.

Electronics designed to simplify installation and configuration 

The new electronic platform is designed to make life easier for installers and end users alike. The control unit with graphic display guides programming of the system’s main functions step by step, or you can configure everything quickly and efficiently via CAME KEY, the Setup Pro App, or the CAME Connect platform. 

Compliance with EU Regulation 2023/826, CXN Bus and AST system 

BKX complies with EU Regulation 2023/826 on energy efficiency. Designed with sustainability in mind from the outset, it incorporates a standby energy-saving mode that reduces power consumption when the operator is not running. 

CXN Bus, CAME’s proprietary protocol, connects accessories and control devices via a simple two-wire cable, delivering: 

The AST (Adaptive Speed and Torque) system automatically adjusts speed and torque to the weight of the gate and operating conditions, dynamically managing acceleration, deceleration, and obstacle detection. 

What about existing systems? BKX is backward compatible with BX, BK and BXV series 

BKX is compatible with previous CAME sliding gate automation series, making it straightforward to upgrade or replace an existing system, without overhauling the current infrastructure, and with reduced time and costs on site. 

Remote management and monitoring with CAME Connect 

Thanks to integration with CAME Connect, the system can be monitored and managed remotely via smartphone or tablet. Installers can step in real time without travelling to the site, while end users manage everything from the app or via smart speaker.
