In carrying out its mission, the Group operates through the parent company and its subsidiaries, associates or affiliates.
This document (hereinafter referred to as the “Code of Ethics”) has been drawn up with the aim of clearly defining the set of values that the CAME Group recognises, accepts and shares.
The Group promotes a working environment which, inspired by respect, fairness and cooperation, as well as on the basis of experience gained in the areas of expertise, encourages the involvement and assumption of responsibility of employees and collaborators, with regard to the specific objectives to be reached and the ways in which they are pursued.
CAME’s management of whistleblowing report
In compliance with the provision of the company’s Organisational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree. n. 231 of 2001, the CAME Ethic Code and the whistleblowing national and European Union legislation, CAME has adopted a system for the management of whistleblowing reports that enables us to manage whistleblowing reports received, including anonymously.
By using the reporting channels, CAME manages and analyses all reports sent by employees, collaborators, suppliers and any other third party, ensuring the confidentiality of the identity of the whistleblower, the reported party and the any other subjects mentioned or involved in the report, also when the report is not anonymous.
For this purpose, CAME has established the Whistleblowing Committee, a collegial body responsible for managing reports by carrying out the activities of receipt, logging, preliminary review and investigation, aimed at assessing the reports submitted.
CAME guarantees the strict confidentiality on the persons and facts reported and anonymity of whistleblowers to ensure that they are not subject to any form of retaliation.
CAME sets up these following reporting channels:
- Whistleblowing Portal: this is considered the preferred reporting channel as, through digital means, it ensures the confidentiality of the identity of the Whistleblower, the Reported Person and any other individuals mentioned or involved in the report and enables the handling of data relating to the report in compliance with applicable legislation. Through the Portal, the Whistleblower may also submit a report anonymously. It can be accessed directly from the company website at the following link: https://came.integrityline.com/ or by clicking on the ‘Whistleblowing Platform’ section below.
- Direct meeting with the Whistleblowing Committee, which can be requested by sending an email to whistleblowing@came.com. To ensure the highest level of confidentiality, you are advised not to include any reference to the facts subject to the report in the text of the communication or email, reserving such details for discussion in person with the Committee. The email address whistleblowing@came.com is reserved exclusively for requests to arrange a direct meeting with the Whistleblowing Committee.
The rules governing this area are contained in the document “CAME Whistleblowing management procedure”, which was approved by CAME’s Board of Directors. The Procedure applies to the Companies that have formally adopted it.
