Giulia Dal Pozzo is one of the most exciting names in Italian padel, and this year we’ve started supporting her on her sporting journey. Who is Giulia Dal Pozzo
Giulia is 21, with Sammarinese roots and dual citizenship. She plays left-handed, partnering with Spain’s Nuria Rodríguez, and is now one of the most promising athletes on the Premier Padel circuit.
2026 was her breakout season. At the BNL Italy Major in Rome, she and Nuria knocked out fourth seeds Claudia Fernández and Sofia Araújo, before reaching the semifinals against world number ones Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea. No Italian player had ever gone that far in a Major before. The results kept coming from there – semifinals, round of 16s, and steady progress that took her to world number 31, the best ranking of her career.
A day between the showroom and the court
Giulia came to visit us at our Headquarters in Dosson, where she met the people who shape our work every day — some who’ve been following her for a while, others meeting her for the first time. She toured our showroom, got hands-on with some of our most iconic CAME products, and sat down with our President, who was delighted to welcome her.
She told us about how she trains, balancing physical preparation with mental focus. “My playing style is explosive,” she told us, “and having a strong connection with my partner really helps – being mentally present and energized.” She then headed onto the padel court, where she played a few rallies and showed us her competitive energy – a simple moment, far from the spotlight of tournaments, that captured the spirit of her visit.
Reflecting on her latest season, she added: “It’s been something new – I’ve made a lot of progress, and results came that I wasn’t expecting. I’m really happy with the journey I’m on.”
