RESIDENCE COSTA SUD

The Costa Sud residential complex consists of 87 housing units distributed across 17 buildings, with two main entrances and a large central park of over 3,000 m². The project is located on the southern coast of Bari, within a modern and rapidly expanding residential area characterized by green spaces and proximity to the sea. The complex is equipped with advanced technological systems and represents an example of integration between design, functionality, and next-generation infrastructure. CAME was commissioned to implement a complete video intercom system perfectly integrated with the residence’s multiservice infrastructure.

Customer need

The client’s objective was to equip the entire complex with an advanced video intercom solution capable of ensuring quality, integration, and long-term reliability. The required technological system had to interface with the pre-installed fiber-optic network and be refined, elegant, robust, and resistant to salt corrosion, given the proximity to the coastline.

Solution adopted

The project was based on a complete IP video intercom system, perfectly integrable with the fiber-optic multiservice infrastructure of the residential complex. The system relies on a single central server, while media converters allow full integration with the high-speed network cabling system of the residence. The advanced XVP and modular MTM entry panels, which respectively offer a modern, elegant design and versatile modularity, are manufactured using materials resistant to corrosion caused by marine oxidizing agents. The XTS indoor receivers, featuring 7” monitors and Wi-Fi connectivity, ensure smart functionality, each capable of managing connections for up to 19 app licenses on mobile devices.
