CAME featured at Top 500 Treviso. Extraordinary finance as a tool for growth.

The conference ‘Choices and visions: extraordinary finance’, part of the 10th edition of Top 500, an event conducted by Nordest Economia and PwC Italy, with the collaboration of the University of Padua, Ca’ Foscari Venice and Fondazione Nord Est, was held yesterday afternoon in Treviso at the Auditorium Fondazione Cassamarca.

Top 500 is a snapshot of the leading companies in the Northeast, with analyses, rankings and the stories of the major players in the area’s economy. A snapshot of the companies between post-pandemic recovery and a future dominated by major unknowns, both on the geopolitical front, primarily the conflict in Ukraine, and on the economic front, with the energy crisis and monetary policies.

Among the personalities interviewed by journalist Roberta Paolini during the round table, the highlight of the event, was also Cav. Paolo Menuzzo, Founder of CAME, who, as always, began with his great optimism: “What do I expect from next year? To improve again, as always. There have always been problems, we have to deal with them”.

During his speech, Paolo Menuzzo recounted the evolution of the Group, which is celebrating its first 50 years this year, with a specific focus on the process of international acquisitions implemented over the past 15 years as a factor in accelerating growth.

He also gave a brief overview of the current year’s performance, which will end on a positive note, meeting the targets the company had set itself, despite the international context and the lack of contribution from some key markets.

“For 2023, we are positive and have growth forecasts,” continues Menuzzo, “although we do not hide the unknowns dictated primarily by the difficulties in finding raw materials. For CAME, extraordinary operations, understood as acquisitions, will remain an asset for continued development”.

The evening closed with an interview with Leopoldo Destro, President of Assindustria Venetocentro, on the prospects for the Treviso and Veneto economies.

Top 500 was an opportunity for CAME to share with other entrepreneurs the upcoming challenges and key strategies for the relaunch of the territory.
