The \u201cinnovative &amp; robust\u201d system needed to modernise parking for the city\u2019s residents. The Chelmsford sites due for upgrade were: &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>High Chelmer \u2013 Multi-Storey \u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Townfield \u2013 Multi-Storey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meadows Surface \u2013 Pay-on-Foot Surface<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meadows Retail \u2013 Multi-Storey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fairfield Road \u2013 Pay on Display<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Civic Centre \u2013 One Level Barrier Restricted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>CAME Parkare\u2019s PKE system offered the ideal solution to help Chelmsford City Council improve the customer experience across the 6 sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PKE\u2019s modern approach to parking minimises moving parts within the system, using newer dual thermal printer technology which increases ticket capacity, allowing machines to operate more quickly and efficiently to maximise traffic flow and decrease levels of downtime for the overall system.
