Tailor-made access control for members, staff, and guests of the exclusive yacht club at Marina di Colico.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Nausika Yacht at Marina di Colico<\/strong>, in the Upper Lake Como area, we implemented a CAME system for centralized vehicular and pedestrian access control. A project designed to coordinate the various areas of the leisure and sports complex dedicated to recreational boating, streamlining access for members, staff, and authorized visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLIENT REQUIREMENT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nausika Yacht at Marina di Colico<\/strong>, located on Lake Como<\/strong>, needed an integrated solution to securely and efficiently handle access to the entire facility, defining dedicated zones for members, staff, and authorized guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The goal was to streamline both vehicle and pedestrian entry management via a unified platform, making daily permission controls effortless. The system also had to allow remote entry monitoring, minimize the requirement for physical staffing, and ensure fast, seamless access for users, even during peak season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Particular attention was required for restricted areas, such as the member-only swimming pool, offices, restrooms, bicycle storage, and waste collection area: each space had to be accessible exclusively to authorized users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADOPTED SOLUTION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To meet these requirements, we implemented a complete CAME access control system<\/strong>, integrating the facility’s vehicular and pedestrian access points into a single infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VEHICLE ACCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vehicular access was equipped with CAME GT4<\/strong> automatic barriers, complete with safety radar for vehicle detection during opening and closing phases. The ACS01 <\/strong>system recognizes users via transponder cards or UHF TAGs<\/strong> installed on vehicles and detected by long-range antennas. In this way, authorized vehicles can enter automatically without needing to stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vehicle gateway was also integrated with a CAME BXV<\/strong> automation system, programmed to open and close automatically based on the Yacht Club’s operating hours. The facility can thus manage access across different time slots without manual intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PEDESTRIAN ENTRANCES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pedestrian access points are likewise handled by ACS01<\/strong>, managing multiple entry points across the entire facility from main access gates and administrative offices to restrooms, bike storage, and waste areas. Using a personalized card, specific authorization levels can be easily assigned according to each individual user profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THE SWIMMING POOL AREA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the swimming pool, reserved exclusively for club members, a CAME OZAK 705EN1<\/strong> swing turnstile in AISI 316 stainless steel with an IP56 protection rating was installed, making it suitable for outdoor installation in high-humidity environments. Integrated into the access control system, it verifies authorization and tracks entries to the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

REMOTE ACCESS MANAGEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To complete the system, a CAME MTM<\/strong> video entry panel allows visitors to contact the Yacht Club staff directly. Thanks to the integration with the CAME ACCESS app<\/strong>, operators can answer calls and control gate openings directly from smartphones or through XTS 5″<\/strong> indoor receivers connected to the facility’s IP network. Access can thus be managed remotely, ensuring operational continuity even when the reception desk is unstaffed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROJECT RESULTS AND BENEFITS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The solution implemented unifies vehicular and pedestrian access control for the Yacht Club into a single infrastructure, simplifying the daily management of the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Centralization allows authorization management through a single system and enables monitoring of the status of various access points. Automatic vehicle recognition via UHF technology speeds up entry for authorized users and promotes smoother traffic flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pedestrian access can also be differentiated based on the permissions assigned to each user, allowing for precise control of restricted areas and better organization of space utilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The integration of the video entry panel with CAME ACCESS<\/strong> also provides greater flexibility for staff, who can answer calls and authorize entries remotely. In this way, the service can still be managed even when the reception desk is unstaffed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the project represents an example of integration between automation, access control, and remote management<\/strong>, capable of enhancing user experience and meeting the operational needs of a high-end sports and hospitality facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
