Safety devices

A full range of safety devices to complete the automation system, in compliance with applicable European standards: wired or cordless photocells and sensitive edges.

The synchronisation of the infrared beam

The photocells in the DeltaS and Dir series feature synchronised infrared technology that makes it possible to apply multiple pairs of photocells to the same system, also in double-height versions and/or close together, without the risk of interference and without inverting the positions of the transmitters and receivers.

Delta photocell

Delta is the infrared photocell; Delta S is the synchronised infrared photocell. Both have a range of 20 m and are available in both external and built-in versions, complete with container.
Aluminium columns are also available for two-way installations.

Dir photocell

Dir is the synchronised infrared photocell with a range varying from 10 to 20 to 30 m. Simple external or built-in application. Double-height column also available in the case of installations in areas subject to the transit of heavy vehicles. The accessories include the dedicated aluminium alloy shockproof container.

Cordless photocells

Db is a wireless infrared safety device; available in version with one- or two-way beams. The system is particularly suitable for achieving easy perimeter coverage and guaranteeing total system safety.  Battery-powered. Maximum range, 10 m.

Sensitive safety edges

Df is a patented Came product, compliant with the EN 12978 and EN 954-1 standards. It is used both when installing both gates and garage doors, with a maximum assembly length of 6 metres.

The built-in protection system

In the case of operators for sliding gates (Bx and Bk series), the DBS photocell enables the incorporation of the Df sensitive edge safety system applied to the moving leaf, without intervening with complex wiring work.

In this way, total safety is ensured in terms of leaf movement, particularly if frequent user transit is envisaged.
