The Came Group, an International leader in automation, active safety and automatic access control devices, takes part in the Justice Exhibition, which opens today in Rimini’s exhibition grounds. The Justice Exhibition is the first event of this kind in the world and it’s a meeting point to help citizens get closer to the different aspects of justice, from health protection to environmental conservation, from family rights to youth protection, from credit security to food, road and transportation safety.
The Justice Exhibition is an important rendezvous where the Came Group presents its forty-year experience in designing and manufacturing systems and solutions able to guarantee citizens’ safety as well as the conservation and safety of public spaces: from high traffic areas, both private and public, to sensitive targets in Italy and abroad.
The Came Group takes part in the exhibition with a dedicated stand where it features the innovative products and solutions coming under its three brands - Urbaco, Furini and Came – ideal to guarantee safety in public places: from environment protection to integrated control up to automation.
Urbaco is the company of the Group which in 1984 designed and patented the first automated bollard for access control. Today Urbaco is a leader in the automated operation of vehicle flows, both in urban areas and private situations. Urbaco is based in the largest towns worldwide, where local authorities and important private groups have chosen its products and recognised just how reliable and unique they are. Urbaco has strengthened many systems and automations which are now used by the public sector and in private industries, by developing also street furniture and anti-intrusion systems. Over the years, Urbaco has registered more than 160 models and 12 international patents, and some of its most significant installations worldwide have been over 300 bollards in the financial district of Dubai and the controlled operation of the area in front of the Forbidden City in Beijing.
In Rimini Urbaco features its line of top safety bollards which are bollards intended for protecting sensitive targets such as police stations, institutional headquarters and embassies or prisons. Urbaco has also designed and developed automated bollards to protect internationally sensitive target areas such as the Pentagon in the USA, the President of the Republic’s building in Panama, the palaces of the Ministries of Finance in Japan and Australia, the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm and the Israeli Embassy in Dublin, Ireland. In Italy the bollards by Urbaco have been installed at the public prosecutor’s department in Benevento, the building of the official Mint in Rome and the NATO headquarters in Gricignano d’Aversa - Naples.
On the Group’s stand you can also find the products and solutions under the Furini brand, used for the safety of pedestrian crossings, especially in public areas. Furini is the brand in the Group specialized in designing and manufacturing control and access devices through automated turnstiles. The access control systems by Furini have been designed for public areas: from railway, maritime and underground stations to airports, harbours and sports areas, also including high traffic areas such as trade centres, institutes, companies, hotels, amusement parks, fitness and wellness centres. Among the facilities developed by Furini in Italy, there is the ice palace (Palaghiaccio) in Milan, Mirabilandia in Ravenna and the entrances to the Coliseum in Rome. For exhibition sites, Furini has developed the access control systems for the exhibition grounds in Parma, Brescia and Milan, both for Fiera Milano City and the new Rho-Pero exhibition grounds. Furini has also designed and developed the access systems to San Raffaele Hospital in Milan and the Universities of Modena, Turin and Milan.
At Rimini the Group is also displaying its products under the Came brand: automated barriers and access control software programs, in a range covering outdoor gates to indoor automated systems.
Came considers safety as a central theme for its operation, not only to provide citizens with systems and solutions able to guarantee safety to high traffic areas, but also to propose automation, active safety and automatic access control systems that stand out in the market for their high level of reliability and safe use.
